Rest: 4th May 2023 (Colombo) Mary Magdaline Ariyanayagam,​ passed away
peacefully on 4th May 2023,​ aged 83. Loving daughter of the late
Anthonypillai Philips (Headmaster of St Theresa's School,​ Kilinochchi)
and Francesca Muthamma. Loving daughter-in-law of the late Bastiampillai and
Ganamuthu and beloved wife of Bastiampillai Joachimpillai Ariyanayagam.
Mother of Bastian Jude Ariyanayagam,​ Philips Joseph Ariyanayagam and Mary
Jothini Ariyanayagam,​ mother-in-law of Assumpta,​ Nirosha and
Pathmarooban. Loving and caring grandmother of Anastasia Jeevani,​ Andrew
Jeevan,​ Melani,​ Jeslin,​ Anushiyaa and baby Pathmarooban. Beloved
sister of the late David Anthony (Ponrasa),​ George Mariathas,​ Fr
Emmanuel Jesuthasan,​ Mary Grace Christina .(Thangamany),​ Soosaithasan
(Sellam),​ Christopher (Palar),​ Mary Anne Elsie (Rukku),​ Calista
