*REV. FR. DON RAYMOND LOUIS SAMARAKOON,*​ of the Archdiocese of Colombo,​
expired on Monday the 27th February 2023. He was the beloved son of the late
Mr. Don Christian Samarakoon and late Mrs. B. Dona Celestina Wijeratne. His
remains will lie in state at Aquinas College,​ Borella from Tuesday,​
28th February,​ 8.30 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. Thereafter his remains will be
brought to the Sacred Heart Chapel,​ Archibishop's House,​ Colombo 8.
Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday the 01st of March at 2.00 p.m.
followed by Burial at the Borella Cemetery. Archbishop's House,​

till 10.00 a.m. Thereafter remains will be taken to No. 29,​ Main
Street,​ Panadura. Cortege leaves residence on 1st of March 2023 at 2.30

Bell),​ Dr Manodh Perera (Consultant Physician,​ Base Hospital
Elpitiya),​ Prof. Theshini Perera (University of Sri Jayewardenepura),​
father-in-law Kamalika,​ Palika and Prof. Inoka Perera (University of
Colombo),​ beloved grandfather of Senath,​ Seshan,​ Rovinya,​
Kushal,​ Seneli and Deshali,​ expired. Cortege leaves residence at 3.30
p.m. on Wednesday 1st March for Cremation at General Cemetery,​ Borella.*
