Beloved wife of the late Neville Bowatte (ex Air Force),​ loving mother to Pradeepika,​ Dulini and Visuddha,​ mother-in-law to Nihal Ekanayake and Aishwarya and grandmother to six (Vinuk,​ Devni,​ Tiara,​ Omith,​ Tarun and Tanya),​ loving sister to Nirmala,​ Dharmasiri (CTB),​ Swarnapali/​Pali (NSB),​ Parakrama (engineering),​ Gamini (Kandy Hospital),​ and Lakshman/​Tissa (plantation),​ and much loved by many Samarasinghe cousins,​ passed away peacefully at home on 2nd Oct.
