Husband of Vidya, father of Mevan and Ranmal, father-in-law of Vanessa and Erin, grandfather of Eliya and Noralie, son of late Stanley and late Padma Kumari Samarasinghe, brother of Malkanthi, late Mahinda, Shirani, Lal, Shantha, late Ananda and Hemamali, brother-in-law of Nimal, Pani, Kumari, Malkanthi, Dushyanthi and Gamani. Funeral on November 26, 2021, in Maryland, USA. His ashes will be interred in Mahaiyawa, Kandy at a later date.075073
