Beloved husband of Thayalam (nee Amithanayagam of Tellipallai), much loved father of Patrick and Dr. Sarah, loving son of late N.S. Sithamparapillai (Station Master, Ceylon Government Railways) and late Saraswathi, cherished youngest brother of late Pusparaja Sithamparapillai , late Pushparani Thirrunavukkarasu (Rani) , Pushpadevi Sithamparapillai (Ranji, Sri Lanka) Pushpamirtham Sabaratnam (Baba, Sri Lanka), Pushparagam Alagaratnam (Mano, Sri Lanka), late Pushpalayam Sivagurunathan (Gnanam), Sarojini Subramaniam (Pillai, Canada) and Stephen Puvendran (Indran, Canada). Rajan will be missed by many of his nieces and nephews and many of his grandnieces and nephews across the globe. Rajan was born in Chundikuli, Jaffna, studied at St. Johns’ College and worked at the Bank of Ceylon (Colombo) before he migrated to Canada and then to Texas, USA.
