Her mortal remains lie at Jayarathne Funeral Parlour, Borella. Cremation will take place at 3.00 p.m. on 13.10.2021 at Borella Cemetery.061824
MULLER - DR BEDE - Loving husband of Thelma (deceased), passed away peacefully aged 96 years, on 5 October 2021 in Sydney, Australia. Loved father of Philip, Stephen (deceased) and Leon, cherished grandfather and great grandfather. A Doctor, born in Colombo in October 1924, he migrated to Australia in 1972. He continued to practice at Concord West, NSW for 37 years, retiring at age 85. WIJESEKERA MARINA (nee JOACHIM) - December 15, 1936 - October 9, 2021. Beloved wife of ROB, loving mother of Eresha (Kevin), Janaka (Yasanti), Rahal, Deepika (Jeff) and Sanjay (Tamara), adoring grandmother to Kenneth, Keara, Annissa, Johann, Djivan, Ayesha, Kiran and Kofi. Marina passed away in her home on October 9th. She was preceded in death by her husband ROB, her sisters Rosemary, Yvonne, Iris, Ninette and her brother Michael. Marina was a vibrant person and wonderful friend to many. She and ROB shared a special bond and partnership, supporting each other through 45 years of marriage and passing away within months of each other. May her soul rest in peace. A private funeral was held on October 11. The family wishes to thank all those who supported Marina through the last few years of her life.061790
