Loving husband of Shanthi Ariyawansa (nee Wanasinghe),​ retired principal of Kotte Sri Jayawardenepura Girls’ School,​ beloved father of Dr Hiran (Australia) and Inoka (Australia - Attorney-at-Law),​ father-in-law of Indranath Dassanayake (Australia),​ grandfather of Navindu and Ridma (Australia),​ passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years. Remains lie at Jayaratne Funeral Parlour,​ Borella from July 24th,​ 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cremation at 5 p.m. on 24th July,​ 2021.046726
