Remains lie at Jayaratne Respect Parlour, Borella on 18th June. Cremation at 3.00 pm at Borella Cemetery.

SAMARASUNDERA - Dr. NIMAL (former Secretary to the Ministry of Buddha Sasana in 1998). Son of Dr. Carolis Samarasundera and Lizzie Liyanarachchi (deceased),​ son-in-law of Dharmadasa Wijemanne and Srima Wijemanne (deceased),​ beloved husband of Malathi Bodhimaya Samarasundera,​ loving father of Prabhavi,​ Sarasi,​ Sayuru,​ Thejani (USA),​ father-in-law of Sumangala,​ Krishan,​ Karina and Eli (USA),​ beloved brother of Gunapala (deceased),​ Sheela,​ Sumana,​ Vimala,​ Agnus,​ brother-in-law of Sepalika (Singapore),​ Dimuth (USA),​ Anura,​ Samadhra (England),​ passed away on June 17,​ 2021.
