Beloved husband of Lakshime Ratnajeewa,​ dear father of Chathurika and Indrajith,​ father-in-law of Chanaka and Tilini,​ darling grandfather of Shamal,​ Kareendra,​ Anuka,​ Menuka and Tenuka,​ passed away peacefully on 01st June 2021.
