Beloved husband of Prema Rani Issac; much loved father of Roshan Clayton Martin,​ loving father-in-law of Christina,​ adored grandfather of Savanna,​ son of the late Manuelpillai (Barley) Bastian (former Managing Director of Bastian & Co. Ltd and Canute & Co. Ltd.) and late Philomena Packiyawathy Bastian,​ son-in-law of the late Selvanayagam Isaac and late Sarojini Isaac,​ beloved brother of Maternus Ranjan (Sri Lanka),​ the late Emmanuel Raju,​ Mary Rani (UK),​ Yasmin Rajes (Australia) and the late Donatus Rajendran,​ loving brother-in-law of Mano (Perth),​ David (Auckland),​ Shanth (Zambia),​ Angela (Sri Lanka),​ Joice (London),​ Victor (Australia) and Malika (London). A Service for Ravi was held in Cornwall Manor,​ cnr Knights Rd and Cornwall St,​ Lower Hutt,​ on Monday,​ 9 November 2020 at 10.30 am followed by private cremation. May his soul Rest in Peace.
